Parent Response - FISD Scott Principal Input Meeting

Scott Family -
By this time, I am sure you have heard that Mrs. Brewer and Mr. Waldrip will not return to Scott. I am personally saddened by this decision, as I know you are, also.
Mrs. Brewer and Mr. Waldrip have built such a strong community and staff at Scott. They have been strong supporters of Scott PTA and our parent community. Most of all, they have loved our children and have been a part of our team while we do our best to raise our babies! It will be sad to see them leave Scott, but we are excited for their opportunity to impact the children at Christie Elementary. We know they will have a strong impact on those children, just as they have with our children.
With that said, I am grateful that FISD has given us the opportunity to give our input on what characteristics we would like to see in their replacements. This is a chance to use our collective voice, we have close to 750 students at Scott, let’s take this opportunity to use our strong voice for our children and the staff and teachers at Scott.
My goal, as PTA President, is to have strong attendance at this meeting, as well as prepared, united and organized feedback for FISD.
- Please make plans to attend the meeting on Wednesday, May 30th from 5:30- 6:00 in the Scott Library. This is our chance to voice what is important to us.
- Please complete this survey to consolidate feedback. This survey is even more important if you cannot attend the meeting. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KNQWX3B
- Please continue to look at Scott Grade Level FB pages as well as scottpta.com for communication.
